About

Eastbank Campground is located on Lake Seminole on the Georgia-Florida state line, managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The campground offers 65 sites, most with electric and water hookups, plus two tent-only sites without hookups. Full amenities include flush toilets, hot showers, drinking water, laundry facilities, and a dump station. A group picnic shelter is also available. Lake Seminole is recognized as one of the premier sport fishing destinations in America, with over 79 species of fish identified in the lake. Extensive stump and grass beds provide abundant cover for largemouth, hybrid, striped and white bass, along with sizable populations of catfish, crappie and bream. The campground provides a boat ramp, dock, and fish cleaning station for anglers. Other popular activities include boating, water skiing, swimming, hiking, biking, and birding. The lake spans 37,500 acres with 376 miles of shoreline, surrounded by pine and hardwood forest covering rolling hills. Wildlife commonly seen includes raccoons, alligators, ring-necked ducks, canvasbacks, scaup, hawks, bald eagles, black vultures, tortoises and snakes. The campground gate is locked from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. eastern time. Camping is limited to 14 days during any 30-consecutive day period.

Physical Address: 153 Eastbank Road, Bainbridge, GA 39819. Take I-10 to Exit 166 (Chattahoochee) to Highway 90 West. Turn left and proceed to traffic light. Turn right on Bolivar Street. Travel 1.5 miles north. Campground sign is on the right; entrance is on the left.
