Flat Campground is a small, forested campground situated along Eightmile Creek in the Methow Valley area of Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. Located at 2,600 feet elevation, the campground provides easy access for trailers via paved Forest Road 5130. The setting offers a peaceful creek-side location with light usage levels, making it a good option for those seeking a quieter camping experience. The campground provides basic amenities including vault toilets, picnic tables, and fire pits at each site. Potable water is not available, so campers must treat or filter water from Eightmile Creek or bring their own supply. Each site can accommodate up to 2 tents or 1 tent and 1 RV, with a maximum of 2 vehicles per site. The forested setting provides natural shade and a scenic backdrop for fishing in the creek or taking day hikes in the surrounding area. Flat Campground is conveniently located just 11 miles from Winthrop, providing relatively easy access to supplies and services while maintaining a backcountry feel. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with a maximum stay limit of 14 days. Standard overnight fees are $15 per night with an additional $5 per night for a second vehicle. Interagency Senior and Access pass holders receive a 50% discount on the base camping fee.

From Winthrop, travel 9 miles north on West Chewuch Road (County Road 1213) to Eight Mile Road (Forest Service Road 5130). Drive 2 miles northwest on paved Forest Road 5130 along Eightmile Creek to Flat Campground on the left.
