About

Falls Creek Campground is situated along the Chewuch River in the Methow Valley Ranger District of the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. This forested campground sits at 2,100 feet elevation and provides a scenic base for exploring the area. Swimming opportunities are available in the Chewuch River during summer months after high water subsides. A paved quarter-mile trail to scenic Falls Creek waterfalls is located directly across the road from the campground, making it easy for campers to access this natural attraction. The area also offers fishing in the river, scenic viewing, and is part of a popular road bike loop on East and West Chewuch Roads. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with payment available through the Recreation.gov mobile app Scan and Pay feature. Sites can accommodate up to 2 tents maximum or 1 tent and 1 RV per site, with trailers limited to 18 feet maximum. Campers should note that potable water is not available on-site, and all garbage must be packed out as no trash receptacles are provided. The maximum stay limit is 14 days.
