Fish Canyon Campground is one of 19 campgrounds within Guernsey State Park, located on the shores of Guernsey Reservoir in Platte County, Wyoming. This primitive campground provides non-electric sites suitable for tents, trailers, and RVs, though campers seeking utility hookups should reserve sites at Sandy Beach or Sandy Point campgrounds on the west side of the park. Each campsite includes a picnic table and fire grill, with comfort station restrooms serving the campground. The park offers a centralized coin-operated shower facility near headquarters and a dump station at the main entrance, both operational from mid-April through mid-October. Water systems throughout the park close October 1 for winterization. Guernsey Reservoir offers over 2,000 acres for boating, fishing, water skiing, and swimming. Three boat ramps with floating docks provide reservoir access. The park also features historic CCC-era stone structures from the 1930s and hiking opportunities throughout the surrounding terrain.

Directions

From Guernsey, Wyoming, head north on US-26 and follow signs to Guernsey State Park. The park entrance is approximately 1 mile north of town. Fish Canyon Campground is located on the east side of the reservoir.
