Fawn Creek Camp is a primitive campground managed by the U.S. Forest Service within the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests in north-central Idaho. The campground sits in a remote forested area of Clearwater County, providing access to the surrounding wilderness and backcountry recreation opportunities. As a dispersed or minimally developed forest service site, Fawn Creek Camp offers basic camping amenities typical of remote USFS locations. The campground provides a quiet, secluded setting for campers seeking a more primitive experience in the national forest. Directions
From Reedsport, Oregon, take Highway 101 north for 0.25 miles. Turn right onto Smith River Road and travel approximately 25 miles to the site. There is no sign at the site, only an old road that parallels the main road between the road and the river.
