Closed — Closed for the winter season. Guanella Pass Road closes around November 26 and reopens near Memorial Day weekend. The campground typically operates from mid-June through mid-September.

About
Clear Lake Campground is a small, rustic campground located four miles south of Georgetown along the scenic Guanella Pass Road in the Arapaho National Forest. Situated at 10,000 feet elevation, this first-come, first-served campground offers eight sites suitable for small camper trailers and tents. The campground operates seasonally from mid-June through mid-September, providing a peaceful base for exploring the surrounding alpine environment. Each campsite is equipped with a tent pad, fire grate, and picnic table. Vault toilets are available, and potable water can be accessed via a hand pump. The campground accommodates up to eight people per site, with parking spurs ranging from 15 to 25 feet in length. Dogs are permitted but must be kept on leash at all times. The campground's location along Guanella Pass Road provides access to numerous hiking trails, scenic viewpoints, and fishing opportunities. Clear Lake itself offers a picturesque alpine setting surrounded by the rugged peaks of the Continental Divide. The Guanella Pass Scenic and Historic Byway follows an old wagon route that once linked Georgetown and Grant, offering stunning mountain views and access to backcountry recreation throughout the summer months.
