About

East Weaver Group Campground is a rustic group campground nestled among the trees on the banks of East Weaver Creek in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest near Weaverville. Available by reservation only, the entire campground can be rented for $110 per night and accommodates groups with 10 individual sites. The campground features picnic tables, fire rings, vault toilets, and drinking water from faucets. The access road is paved with dirt spurs leading to individual sites. While primarily designed for tent camping, approximately 30% of the spurs can accommodate small trailers. Fuel, groceries, and restaurants are available 1.5 miles away in Weaverville. Multiple trailheads leading into the Trinity Alps Wilderness are within a short walk from the campground, making this an excellent base camp for hiking groups exploring the wilderness area. The campground is operated by Shasta Recreation Company and offers a peaceful, forested setting ideal for group gatherings.

Directions

From Weaverville, take Highway 3 north for 2 miles. Turn left on Road 228. Campground is 1.5 miles on the left.
