About

Eagle Island State Park's brand new RV campground represents the largest upgrade in the park's history. The campground features 48 full hookup sites with electric, water, and sewer connections, along with flush toilets and indoor showers. Fire rings are available, and the campground includes ADA-accessible campsites and restrooms. Pets are allowed on a 6-foot leash throughout the campground, though they are prohibited on the beach and in the lake. The park spans 545 acres along the Boise River west of downtown Boise, offering a swimming beach, picnic lawns, over five miles of trails for hiking and horseback riding, and a 212-acre designated off-leash dog area south of the main road. A 19-hole disc golf course accommodates all skill levels. Water to campsites is shut off from November 1 through April 1, though four frost-free spigots remain available during that period. Reservations can be made through getoutside.idaho.gov or by calling 888-922-6743. Idaho residents pay $28-$40 per night for full hookup sites; non-residents add a $3 per night surcharge. A $10 non-refundable transaction fee applies to each reservation, and the motor vehicle entrance fee is separate from campsite fees.
