This is a day-use facility only; no overnight camping is allowed. The dump station typically opens late May and closes in October, weather permitting. As of mid-May, it may not yet be operational. Fee is $10 per dump.

Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.3 and 1.3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.1 to 0.4 inches are expected over the area. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.3 and 1.2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.3 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... About
The Dump Station at Great Basin National Park is a day-use service facility, not a campground. It provides RV sewage disposal, potable water, and trash receptacles for visitors camping elsewhere in the park. No overnight camping is allowed at this site. The facility is located 1/2 mile inside the park entrance on Nevada Highway 488. It typically operates from late May through October, weather permitting. The fee is $10 per use for dumping RV sewage, with no discounts available for Senior or Access Pass holders. Composting toilets are available seasonally. Visitors should contact the park at (775) 234-7331 to confirm the station is operational before arriving, as exact opening dates depend on weather conditions.
