About
The Dump Station at Great Basin National Park is a day-use service facility, not a campground. It provides RV sewage disposal, potable water, and trash receptacles for visitors camping elsewhere in the park. No overnight camping is allowed at this site. The facility is located 1/2 mile inside the park entrance on Nevada Highway 488. It typically operates from late May through October, weather permitting. The fee is $10 per use for dumping RV sewage, with no discounts available for Senior or Access Pass holders. Composting toilets are available seasonally. Visitors should contact the park at (775) 234-7331 to confirm the station is operational before arriving, as exact opening dates depend on weather conditions.
