About
Baker Creek Campground sits at approximately 7,530 feet along Baker Creek Road in Great Basin National Park, Nevada. The campground contains 37 sites including standard tent sites, RV-compatible sites, and walk-to sites (29-32). Each site includes a picnic table and fire pit with attached grill. Vault toilets are available but there is no potable water, so campers must bring their own supply. The campground accommodates RVs and trailers up to 50 feet in length on most sites, though the upper loop (sites 9-14) is restricted to tents only. ADA accessible camping is available at sites 4 and 28, with accessible restrooms. Pets are allowed but must be on a leash no longer than six feet and are not permitted on trails or in the backcountry. Quiet hours are enforced from 8 PM to 8 AM, with generator use restricted to daytime hours only. Dead and downed firewood may be collected within the park below 10,000 feet, excluding Bristlecone Pine. Bundled firewood is available for purchase in the nearby town of Baker.
Directions
From the park entrance, head toward Lehman Caves Visitor Center for 0.5 miles, then turn left onto Baker Creek Road. Follow the gravel road for 3 miles to reach the campground.
