About

Sun Lakes-Dry Falls State Park sits in the heart of Washington's Channeled Scablands, a landscape carved by the catastrophic Missoula Floods at the end of the last Ice Age. The park encompasses 3,774 acres at the base of Dry Falls, once one of the largest waterfalls in geologic history, now a 400-foot cliff overlooking a chain of lakes that fill the ancient plunge pool. The campground offers 96 standard campsites and 41 full-hookup sites spread along Park Lake's shoreline. Sites accommodate RVs and trailers up to 65 feet, though availability at maximum length is limited. All sites include fire rings, and the park provides restrooms, showers, drinking water, and a dump station. A group camp accommodates up to 75 people for tent camping. Recreation options include swimming, fishing, and boating on Park Lake and nearby Deep Lake, plus 15 miles of hiking trails with panoramic views of the coulees. The park also features a nine-hole golf course and miniature golf. The Dry Falls Visitor Center overlooks the ancient waterfall and interprets the region's dramatic geologic history.
