About

Bridgeport State Park sits on the shores of Rufus Woods Lake, a reservoir created by Chief Joseph Dam on the Columbia River in Okanogan County. The 622-acre park provides a green oasis in Washington's high desert, with 18 acres of irrigated lawn and shade trees contrasting the surrounding arid landscape. The park offers 7,500 feet of freshwater shoreline for swimming, fishing, and boating. The campground features standard and partial hookup sites suitable for tents and RVs. A group camp with kitchen shelter, restrooms, brazier, and picnic tables accommodates up to 75 people. Park amenities include restrooms with showers, drinking water, fire pits, picnic tables, a trailer dump station, boat ramp, dock, Wi-Fi, horseshoe pits, and playgrounds. ADA-accessible facilities are available throughout the park. The area is known for excellent walleye and trout fishing on Rufus Woods Lake. The park's location on the Colville Indian Reservation provides access to unique cultural and natural landscapes of the Columbia Plateau.
