About
Lake Chelan State Park occupies a prime location on the south shore of Lake Chelan, a 50-mile glacially carved lake that ranks as the third-deepest in the United States. The 127-acre park attracts campers seeking waterfront recreation with convenient amenities. The campground offers a mix of standard tent sites and utility sites with partial or full hookups for RVs. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring, and the park provides flush restrooms, hot showers, potable water, and a dump station. The lake dominates the park experience. A boat ramp and dock provide access for motorboats, kayaks, and paddleboards, with overnight moorage available for boats up to 18 feet. The swimming beach draws crowds during summer, and the park also features a volleyball court, playground, amphitheater, and kitchen shelter. The Paninis in the Park concession operates daily through Labor Day. Reservations are strongly recommended during peak summer months, as this remains one of Washington's most popular state park campgrounds.
