Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park Campground is a popular camping destination located in the northwest section of Wildwood, Missouri, just minutes from St. Louis. The campground provides a green-space oasis for generations of Missourians seeking outdoor recreation close to the metro area. After extensive renovations completed in June 2025, the campground now offers a variety of camping options including basic sites, electric sites, and 35 upgraded sites with full sewer, water, and 50-amp electric hookups. The campground is fully reservable year-round and features modern amenities during the main season including restrooms and a shower house. During the off-season from November through March, these facilities close but potable water remains available at frost-free spigots near campsites 36 and 28. The park's historic Civilian Conservation Corps architecture adds character to the landscape, while miles of hiking, biking, and equestrian trails offer opportunities for exploration. Additional amenities include a dump station, picnic areas with shelters, interpretive programs, and organized group camping facilities including the Jacob L. Babler Outdoor Education Center. Campers enjoy easy access to the park's recreational offerings while maintaining proximity to St. Louis area attractions. The campground operates with a 15-day stay limit within any 30-consecutive-day period and allows up to two vehicles per site with additional parking available for $5 per night.

From I-44, take Exit 264 onto Hwy. 109. Travel north eight miles to Route BA. Turn left and continue two miles; the park entrance is on the left.
