The campground is currently closed for the season. Regular season runs Memorial Day through Labor Day, weather dependent. Limited self-supported camping is available along FSR 514 with no services.

About
Doyle Creek Campground is located 30 miles west of Buffalo, Wyoming, near the Cloud Peak Wilderness area in Bighorn National Forest. Situated at 8,100 feet elevation in a densely forested area of lodgepole pine, the campground offers a peaceful and remote setting with Doyle Creek flowing through an adjacent meadow. The campground features 18 sites including 17 standard nonelectric sites and one tent-only site. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and campfire ring with grill. Vault toilets and drinking water from a hand pump are provided, along with trash collection during the operating season. Firewood is available for purchase from the camp host. Recreational opportunities abound, including fishing in the campground and nearby streams and lakes, hiking and mountain biking on nearby Elgin Park, Pole Creek, and Crazy Woman Canyon Roads, and access to ATV trails adjacent to camp. The Cloud Peak Wilderness offers many additional hiking trails. Summer daytime temperatures range from the 60s to 90s, with nighttime temperatures dropping to the 50s. Thunderstorms and snowstorms can arise at any time.
Directions
From Buffalo, WY, take US Highway 16 west 24 miles to County Road 3 (Hazelton Road). Turn left onto Hazelton Road and go 6.2 miles to the campground turnoff. Turn left and go 0.3 miles to the campground.
