Dogwood Campground occupies a forested hillside in the San Bernardino Mountains, surrounded by cedar, oak, pine, and fir trees at 5,800 feet elevation. The campground's 87 sites range from tent-only to standard nonelectric to electric hookup sites with 30-amp service. Each site includes a fire ring with grill and picnic table. Accessible flush toilets, showers, and drinking water are provided throughout the facility. The campground operates seasonally from mid-April through late October, weather dependent. All sites require advance reservation through Recreation.gov. A dump station is available for RV campers. Onsite trails include the Dogwood Trail and Enchanted Loop Trail, both under a mile in length. Interpretive programs run at the amphitheater on Friday and Saturday nights during the season. Lake Arrowhead Village offers dining and shopping five minutes from camp. Lake Gregory, 15 minutes away, provides boating, fishing, and a waterslide park. Bears are active in the area; all food must be stored in approved containers. Pets are permitted on leash. Site parking aprons are paved but narrow, and maximum vehicle lengths vary by site.

Directions

From San Bernardino, travel north on Hwy 18 toward Lake Arrowhead. Just before Rim of the World High School, turn left (north) onto Daley Canyon Access Road (3 miles west of Arrowhead Ranger Station). Turn right into the campground entrance.
