Dogwood Campground sits in the heart of San Bernardino National Forest, about 20 miles northeast of San Bernardino and just five minutes from Lake Arrowhead. The campground features 87 reservable sites nestled in a lush forest of cedar, oak, pine, and fir trees. Sites are available for both tent and RV camping, with some equipped with electric hookups. Paved parking aprons are narrow, so larger rigs should check site specifications carefully. The campground provides flush toilets, hot showers, drinking water, and a dump station. Each site includes a picnic table and campfire ring with grill. Firewood is available for purchase. An on-site amphitheater hosts evening campfire programs on some weekend nights. Within the campground, the Dogwood Trail and Enchanted Loop Trail offer easy hiking under a mile in length with scenic forest views. Lake Arrowhead is five minutes away, offering restaurants and shops. Lake Gregory, about 15 minutes away, provides boating, fishing, and water recreation. The campground is located next to Rim of the World High School. Bears are active in the area, so proper food storage is required. Reservations are made through Recreation.gov up to six months in advance.

Directions

From San Bernardino, travel north on Highway 18 toward Lake Arrowhead. Just before Rim of the World High School, turn left (north) onto Daley Canyon Access Road (3 miles west of Arrowhead Ranger Station). Turn right into the campground entrance.
