About
Green Valley Campground is nestled in the San Bernardino National Forest at 7,200 feet elevation, positioned midway between Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear Lake. The campground features 37 sites set among pine, fir, and cedar trees mixed with open meadows and shrubby areas, overlooking a seasonal mountain creek. The campground offers both tent and RV sites, with 26 sites available for reservation and 11 first-come, first-served sites. Each site includes a picnic table and campfire ring with grill. Green Valley Lake, renowned for its trout fishing, is just a mile away and provides opportunities for boating, swimming, and access to various hiking trails. The location serves as an excellent base camp for exploring the surrounding mountain recreation area, with Lake Arrowhead 16 miles west and Big Bear Lake 15 miles east.
Directions
From Running Springs, travel east on Highway 18 about 3 miles to Green Valley Lake Road. Turn left and continue about 6 miles to the campground.
