Weed Free Hay Order 04-2021-03
Prohibited by this order: Possessing, storing, or transporting non-pelletized hay, straw, or mulch in the Intermountain Region, unless it is certified as weed free by the state where the product originated.
Explosives and Exploding Target Order 04-2021-02

This Order applies to all National Forest System lands and roads within the Boise National Forest for purposes of public health and safety.
Flat Fire GNA Salvage Road and Trail Closure

About
Dog Creek Campground is nestled in a ponderosa pine forest along the banks of Dog Creek at an elevation of 4,600 feet, four miles north of the town of Pine in south-central Idaho. The campground sits at the foot of the Trinity Mountain Range in a scenic setting with stands of cottonwood, aspen, Douglas fir, and ponderosa pine. Summer wildflowers are abundant, and deer and hummingbirds are frequently spotted in the area. The campground offers 11 single-family campsites and two small group sites that can accommodate up to 15 people each. The South Fork Boise River runs within a quarter-mile of the campground, providing excellent opportunities for rafting, swimming, and fishing for rainbow trout. Paradise Hot Springs is located nearby for those seeking natural hot spring soaking. Green Creek Trail 270, a 4.5-mile trail for hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, and off-road vehicles, begins a mile from the campground. Cross Cut Trail 172 is also close by and offers similar multi-use recreation opportunities. Baumgartner Hot Springs is approximately 16 miles away, featuring a soaking pool and nature trail. Kelly Creek Flats Recreation Area is adjacent to Baumgartner, providing additional trail opportunities for exploring the Boise National Forest backcountry.
Directions
From Mountain Home, travel east on Highway 20 for 35 miles to the turnoff for Pine/Featherville (Forest Highway 61). Travel north on Highway 61 for 23 miles to the campground.
