About
Pine Campground Boat Ramp is a day-use boat launch facility on Anderson Ranch Reservoir, managed by the Boise National Forest's Mountain Home Ranger District. The 16-foot-wide concrete ramp provides access to the 14-mile-long reservoir, which reaches depths of 315 feet and offers fishing for kokanee, rainbow trout, smallmouth bass, yellow perch, and bull trout. The facility includes a vault toilet, picnic table, fire ring, and boat dock for day visitors. Potable water is not available, so visitors should bring their own. Horses and pack animals are not permitted. The site is located on the east shore of Anderson Ranch Reservoir, adjacent to Pine Campground which offers 7 sites for those seeking overnight accommodations.
Directions
From Mountain Home, travel east on Highway 20 for 35 miles to the Pine/Featherville turnoff (Forest Highway 61). Continue north on Highway 61 for approximately 20 miles to Pine, Idaho. Take the road south from Pine along the west side of Anderson Reservoir and travel approximately 3 miles.
