Cape Lookout State Park is one of Oregon's most popular coastal campgrounds, located on a dramatic sand spit separating Netarts Bay from the Pacific Ocean. The park features over 200 campsites across multiple loops: 38 full-hookup RV sites, 170 tent sites with water nearby, one electrical site, 13 yurts (6 pet-friendly), and 6 deluxe cabins (3 pet-friendly). Group tent camping and hiker/biker camping are also available. The campground provides full amenities including flush toilets, hot showers for registered campers, an RV dump station, and firewood sales in C Loop. Two campsites and one cabin accommodate visitors with disabilities, and two yurts feature ADA-compliant ramps. Dogs are welcome on a 6-foot leash, with off-leash beach access permitted north of the campground. Beyond camping, the park offers excellent hiking including the Cape Lookout Trail with its dramatic ocean views, beachcombing along miles of sandy shoreline, and access to the scenic Three Capes Route. The park accepts reservations up to 6 months in advance.

Directions

From Tillamook, head west on Third Street, which becomes Netarts Highway (Highway 131). Continue approximately 10 miles through Netarts to the park entrance on the left.
