About

Mill Canyon Campground is a quiet, primitive campground nestled in a forest of pine and aspen along the Blackfoot River in the Caribou-Targhee National Forest. Located 26 miles southeast of Soda Springs, Idaho at an elevation of 6,400 feet, the campground offers 10 single-family sites with picnic tables and fire rings. Vault toilets are available during the summer season. The Blackfoot River flows nearby, offering anglers opportunities to catch cutthroat and rainbow trout. Trails for hiking and horseback riding thread through the surrounding forest. The campground accommodates tents and small trailers on gravel roads and parking spurs. This is a pack-it-out campground with no potable water, trash service, or hookups. Campers should come fully prepared with their own water supply and plan to take all trash with them when they leave.
