About
Copper Creek Campground is a scenic Forest Service facility located along the Moyie River in northern Idaho's Panhandle National Forests, just one mile south of the Eastport border crossing. The campground offers 16 sites, including three that are ADA-accessible, set in a forested riverside setting with vault toilets and seasonal drinking water available from a hand pump. The area provides excellent recreational opportunities, including fishing access to the Moyie River and the Copper Falls viewpoint trail located 1.5 miles east on Forest Road #2517. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis year-round, though amenities vary by season. During peak season from Memorial Day through Labor Day, sites cost $15 per night with an additional $5 for extra vehicles. When the water system is turned off during the shoulder seasons, camping is free. Interagency Senior and Access pass holders receive a 50% discount on the campsite fee.
