About
Robinson Lake Campground is situated in the Lower Kootenai River Region of Idaho Panhandle National Forests, approximately 27 miles north of Bonners Ferry. The campground features 10 campsites, three of which are ADA-accessible, arranged around a 60-acre lake that provides excellent fishing and non-motorized boating opportunities. The facility includes handicap-accessible vault toilets and potable water available via hand pump during the peak season from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The campground operates year-round on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations available. During peak season when water is available, sites cost $15 per night with an additional $5 fee for extra vehicles. In the off-season when water is turned off, camping is free. The campground also features a boat ramp and a day use area with two picnic units, making it suitable for both overnight camping and day trips. Robinson Lake offers a peaceful setting for fishing, swimming, wildlife viewing, and scenic day hikes. The campground is accessed via a short 0.3-mile drive on Forest Road 448 off US Highway 95. Interagency Senior and Access passes provide a 50% discount on campsite fees during peak season.
Directions
Travel north on US 95 from Bonners Ferry for 27 miles (stay right at US 95 and Idaho 1 junction). Turn left at Robinson Lake Campground Road #448 and continue 0.3 miles to the campground.
