Alcohol Prohibitions

Sugarloaf Campground sits adjacent to Sugarloaf Lake in the Colville National Forest, approximately 5 miles north of Conconully, Washington. This small, rustic campground offers just 4 single campsites, making it an ideal destination for campers seeking a quiet retreat away from crowds. The campground provides basic amenities including picnic tables and fire rings at each site, along with a vault toilet facility. The campground operates seasonally from April 1 through October 27, operating on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations. Camping costs $10 per night per site, with an additional $5 fee for extra vehicles. Interagency Senior and Access passes qualify for a 50% discount. Be prepared to pay with cash or check. Sugarloaf Lake offers fishing opportunities, though a Washington state fishing license is required. The campground enforces quiet hours between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., and campers are limited to a 14-day maximum stay. Food and wildlife attractants must be properly stored at all times. Note that no potable water or garbage service is available, so campers must bring their own water supply and pack out all trash.

From Conconully, drive north on Main Street to County Road #4015 on the right. Travel on County Road #4015 for about 5 miles to Sugarloaf Campground entrance on the left.
