About

Collins Campground is a peaceful riverside retreat nestled along the Duckabush River in Olympic National Forest. The campground features 16 sites spread beneath a forest canopy, with several sites positioned near the river. Ten sites accommodate tents, trailers, and RVs up to 21 feet in length, while six tent-only sites include parking spurs. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations. Amenities include vault toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings. No potable water is available on site; the nearest source is a hand pump well at Interrorem Cabin trailhead, 1.5 miles east. Campers must pack out all garbage. The Duckabush River offers scenic views but presents hazards including swift water, rapids, and waterfalls. The river is not floatable and extreme caution is advised near the water. The Duckabush trailhead, located one mile west, provides access to hiking opportunities in the surrounding wilderness.
