About
Clearwater #2 Forebay Forest Camp is a small, primitive campground featuring 5 sites situated around a scenic forebay pond in Oregon's Umpqua National Forest. The campground offers a quiet, secluded atmosphere ideal for those seeking solitude and a night under the stars away from more developed recreation areas. The campground operates on a free, first-come, first-served basis with no reservations accepted. Vault toilets are provided, but campers must bring their own drinking water as no potable water is available on site. Water from nearby sources can be treated or filtered. There is no trash service, so all campers must pack out their garbage. Nearby recreation attractions make this an excellent basecamp, including the spectacular Toketee Falls, relaxing Umpqua Hot Springs (day-use only), and the impressive Watson Falls. The maximum vehicle length is 25 feet, making this campground unsuitable for large RVs. Dogs are allowed but must be leashed during the day and confined to vehicles or tents at night.
