About

Clear Creek Recreation Area sits on an inlet of Ozark Lake where the Arkansas River flows through the Ozark region of western Arkansas. The campground provides direct water access for boating and fishing, with a boat ramp, courtesy dock, and fishing docks available. The area is known for excellent waterfowl viewing and serves as a gateway to Frog Bayou and other waterways along this major interstate waterway. The campground is divided into two loops: Loop A contains 28 electric sites with 30-amp service suitable for RVs up to 52 feet, while Loop B offers 10 non-electric tent sites. All sites feature paved back-in parking spurs ranging from 20 to 56 feet, a fire ring with grill, and a picnic table. A group shelter with electric is also available for larger gatherings. Facilities include flush toilets, warm showers, potable drinking water, and a dump station. The nearby city of Alma provides shopping and services just a short drive away.
