Cinnamon Bay Beach and Campground sits on St. John's longest beach, framed by coconut palms and sea grape trees within Virgin Islands National Park. The facility offers three accommodation styles: bare sites with a wood platform, rain cover, picnic table, and charcoal grill; eco-tents equipped with fans, lights, electric outlets, queen beds, linens, and cooking kits; and concrete cottages featuring ceiling fans, queen beds, day beds, mini fridges, and outdoor grills. On-site amenities include four communal bathhouses with individual shower and toilet stalls, an ADA-accessible restroom in the main building, and free WiFi in the restaurant area. The Rain Tree Cafe serves breakfast and dinner daily, while a food truck provides lunch and cold beverages. The general store stocks groceries, kitchen items, and ice cream. Watersports equipment including snorkel gear, paddleboards, kayaks, and beach chairs are available for rental. The campground sits adjacent to excellent snorkeling waters where visitors can spot sea turtles, tropical fish, underwater ruins from a historic sugar plantation, and a sunken 1940s plane. The nearby Cinnamon Bay Nature Loop offers an accessible 0.5-mile boardwalk trail through historic sugar plantation ruins.

Directions

Located on St. John's North Shore Road (Route 20) about 4 miles outside of Cruz Bay. Access to St. John is by ferry from St. Thomas or Red Hook.
