About

Cattail Cove State Park occupies 2,000 acres on the shores of Lake Havasu, part of the Colorado River system in western Arizona. The park features two white sand beaches, a boat ramp accommodating both motorized and non-motorized watercraft, and excellent access to Lake Havasu's 60 miles of navigable waterways. Fishing, swimming, waterskiing, and kayaking are primary activities. The campground consists of two areas: the lower campground with 61 sites (57 with 30 amp, 4 with 50 amp electric plus water) and the newer upper campground with 78 full-hookup sites including water, sewer, and 50 amp service. All developed sites include a picnic table and BBQ/fire pit. Primitive boat-in camping along the shoreline offers a more secluded experience with picnic tables, stand-up grills, and pit toilet access. On-site amenities include restroom buildings with showers, a dump station, visitor center with park store, ramadas, butterfly garden, and an unfenced dog park. The park is located 15 miles south of Lake Havasu City on Highway 95.
