About

Cattail Cove State Park campground provides a peaceful retreat on Lake Havasu, approximately 15 miles south of Lake Havasu City. The main campground features 61 paved sites with electric hookups (57 sites with 30 amp, 4 sites with 50 amp) and water at every site. Each site includes a picnic table and BBQ/fire pit. The campground is suitable for both RVs and tent campers, with well-spaced sites and modern amenities including flush toilets and showers. For those seeking more primitive experiences, the park offers boat-in camping sites along the lake shoreline. These sites feature picnic tables, stand-up BBQ grills, and access to pit toilets, but no campfires are allowed year-round (propane stoves permitted). All boat-in sites are first-come, first-served. The 2,000-acre park has been operated by Arizona State Parks since 1970 and offers excellent fishing for largemouth and striped bass, channel and flathead catfish, bluegill and crappie. A white sand beach and boat ramp provide access to the 45-mile long lake, which is popular for sailing, water skiing, and jet skiing.
