About

Lake Havasu State Park Main Campground sits on the Arizona shore of Lake Havasu, a 45-mile-long reservoir on the Colorado River known for its clear blue waters and year-round boating. The campground's 54 sites all have 50-amp electrical hookups and individual water connections, making it well-suited for RV camping. Each site comes equipped with a picnic table and fire ring, and most have shade ramadas to provide relief from the desert sun. The park offers flush restrooms with showers for registered campers, a dump station, and a camp store with limited supplies. Three boat ramps provide lake access, and watercraft rentals are available through a concessionaire. The Mohave Sunset Trail offers 1.75 miles of hiking, and the Arroyo-Camino Interpretive Garden showcases native desert plants. Located right in Lake Havasu City near the famous London Bridge, the park is open year-round and operates 24 hours. Summer temperatures regularly exceed 100°F, while winters are mild with highs in the 60s. The campground is popular with boaters, anglers, and those seeking water recreation in the desert.
