Open — Open year-round with reservations available online or by phone. Weekend camping minimum stay requirements apply April 1 through September 30 (Friday and Saturday nights required). Holiday weekend minimums require Friday through Sunday for Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Columbus Day weekends. Stay limit is 14 nights per 30-day period.

Located along the Parker Strip, an 18-mile stretch of the Colorado River between Parker Dam and Headgate Dam, Buckskin Mountain State Park commands one of the finest views in western Arizona. The campground features 80 developed sites with water and 30-amp electric hookups, with 15 sites offering full hookups including sewer. Every site includes a picnic table, BBQ grill, and fire ring, with no maximum RV length restrictions. The park provides three restroom and shower buildings with hot water, including one ADA-accessible facility. A dump station is available for registered campers. Recreational opportunities include a two-lane boat ramp, designated swim beach, fishing for bass, sunfish, and catfish, and an extensive trail system including the Lightning Bolt Trail with panoramic views. The park also features a visitor center (open January through March), gift shop with convenience items, day-use areas with shade trees overlooking the river, and free WiFi at the group ramada. Desert wildlife viewing is excellent, with regular sightings of bobcats, ringtail cats, coyotes, gray fox, and numerous bird species including red-tailed hawks, great horned owls, and waterfowl. The park sits at just over 400 feet elevation in the Sonoran Desert along Arizona's west coast.

Directions

From downtown Parker, Arizona, take Highway 95 North for approximately seven miles. The campground entrance is on the left side of the highway.
