Buckskin Mountain State Park commands one of the finest views along the Parker strip, an 18-mile stretch of the Colorado River between Parker Dam and Headgate Dam. The campground offers 84 sites within close proximity to the river, with some positioned at the water's edge. All sites include electric hookups (20/30/50 amp), water connections, a BBQ grill, picnic table, and fire ring. Select sites also feature sewer connections. The park provides excellent facilities for extended stays, including three restroom/shower buildings with hot showers, a dump station for registered campers, and a camp store stocking snacks, drinks, and convenience items. A boat ramp offers easy river access for watercraft, while hiking trails and beach areas provide additional recreation. Free high-speed WiFi is available at the group ramada. Reservations are available online or by phone at 1-877-MY PARKS. Riverfront tent sites operate first-come, first-served and become available at noon each day.
