About

Cat Creek Campground is a small, rustic campground in Gifford Pinchot National Forest with 5 campsites nestled in a wooded setting along Cat Creek near its confluence with the Cispus River. The forested sites offer shade and some privacy, making it a peaceful base for exploring the surrounding area. The campground is particularly popular with OHV riders who use it as a staging area for accessing nearby multi-use trails. Despite catering to motorized recreation, operating OHVs within the campground itself is prohibited. Facilities are minimal: vault toilets are provided, but there is no potable water and no trash service. Campers must bring their own water supply and pack out all garbage. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis only. Sites accommodate vehicles up to 18 feet in length. Dogs are permitted but must be kept on a leash at all times.
