About

Cabin Camp 5 was the last camp completed by the Civilian Conservation Corps and Works Progress Administration in Prince William Forest Park. It offers the largest capacity of all the cabin camps, housing up to 205 campers in summer and 104 in winter. The camp is organized into two units with small cabins sleeping 2-4 people and larger dorm buildings sleeping 24-26 each. This is the only cabin camp with heating, making it available for rental year-round. Facilities include a commercial-grade kitchen with a 10-burner gas stove, three ovens, and walk-in refrigerator, plus a dining hall seating 120 guests. Each unit has central restrooms with hot showers. The camp features a unique outdoor picnic pavilion with a stage and large stone fireplace. An infirmary building with 10 beds includes a private shower and refrigerator. The camp provides access to Lake 2, field areas for sports, and nearby hiking and biking trails. Groups must bring their own bedding, toiletries, kitchen equipment, and food. No electrical appliances are permitted, and all pets except service animals are prohibited.
