Burgess Junction Visitor Center
This is a day-use visitor center, not a campground. No overnight camping is available. The visitor center operates 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, with seasonal operation dependent on weather conditions.

About
Burgess Junction Visitor Center is a day-use facility situated along the Bighorn Scenic Byway in Wyoming's Bighorn National Forest. The center serves as an information hub for forest visitors, featuring an exhibit room, display room, and video room with interpretive materials about the area's natural and cultural history. The facility includes a self-guided interpretive trail and offers scenic views of the surrounding mountains. Flush toilets and potable water are available for day-use visitors. Dogs are not permitted inside the building but are allowed outside on leash. This is not a campground and no overnight camping is available at this location. Visitors seeking camping should consider nearby developed campgrounds such as North Tongue or Prune Creek, both located along the Bighorn Scenic Byway.
