About

Brush Lake State Park is a remote gem in northeastern Montana, centered on a pristine lake with remarkably clear water and white sandy beaches. The 451-acre park sits at 1,981 feet elevation in the open prairie landscape of Sheridan County, offering a peaceful retreat far from crowds. The campground consists of 12 sites, all with electric hookups: 10 standard electric sites and 2 double sites with electricity. Amenities include vault toilets, potable water, fire rings, and picnic tables. A concrete boat ramp and dock provide easy lake access for motorized and non-motorized watercraft. The lake supports walleye and trout fishing, and the calm waters are popular for water-skiing and swimming. Wildlife viewing opportunities abound in the surrounding grasslands, and the park's remote location makes it an excellent spot for photography and quiet relaxation away from developed areas.
