About

Bridge Campground is a high-elevation destination in the remote reaches of Ashley National Forest, positioned alongside the Yellowstone River at over 7,600 feet. The riverside setting provides excellent stream fishing opportunities, and the surrounding forest offers access to trails for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and OHV riding. Facilities are basic: vault toilets are provided, but there is no potable water on site. Campers should arrive fully prepared with drinking water and supplies. The campground enforces quiet hours from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., including generators, and prohibits all firearms and projectiles. Dogs are allowed but must remain leashed at all times. Access to Bridge Campground requires navigating forest roads. From Highway 40 in Duchesne, turn north onto Highway 87 for 15.5 miles to the Mountain Home turnoff, then follow N 21000 W for 2.5 miles through Mountain Home before continuing north on County Road 1566 for 4 miles and turning east onto Yellowstone Road #119.
