About
Brandy Creek RV Campground sits on a secluded hilltop overlooking Whiskeytown Lake, 13.5 miles west of Redding, California. The campground consists of 15 paved sites designed exclusively for self-contained RVs with onboard toilets and wastewater systems. Tents, cars, boats, and non-self-contained vehicles are not permitted for overnight stays. Partial shade from native oaks and pines provides relief from summer heat. The facility offers one shared potable water fill station and dump station, though these may be shut off periodically during winter to prevent freezing. There are no restrooms, hookups, picnic tables, or fire grates at the campground. Ground fires and portable fire pits are prohibited throughout the area. Brandy Creek Beach lies a quarter-mile south, featuring sandy beaches, a swimming area, and picnic facilities. From Memorial Day through Labor Day, the beach area offers showers, a camp store with food and supplies, and paddle board and kayak rentals. The Brandy Creek boat launch is also nearby, providing access to the 3,200-acre lake for water skiing, sailing, and fishing.
