About

Bowery Creek Group Recreation Site is located in the Fish Lake area of Fishlake National Forest in central Utah, approximately 42 miles east of Richfield. Situated at 9,000 feet on a sagebrush-covered hillside, the site offers views of Fish Lake, Utah's largest natural mountain lake covering 2,500 acres and renowned for its trophy Mackinaw lake trout weighing 20-40 pounds. The facility provides flush toilets and drinking water available from a hand pump. Campers must pack out all trash. ATVs are not permitted in the campgrounds or anywhere in the Fish Lake basin. The high elevation means cold weather is possible even during summer months. Reservations can be made through Recreation.gov or by phone. America the Beautiful pass holders receive a 50% discount on single sites. Camping is limited to 10 consecutive days. Pets are allowed but must remain leashed at all times.
