About

Boulder Creek Campground sits in a heavily wooded, high-elevation setting along the Pioneer Mountains Scenic Byway (Forest Service Road 73) in Montana's Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest. The campground features 13 sites with paved roads and paved trailer pads, making it accessible for a variety of camping setups. Three of the sites are pull-through, accommodating trailers up to 30 feet in length. Each site is equipped with a fire ring, picnic table, and bear box for food storage. The campground has two ADA-accessible vault toilets. Potable water is typically available from a hand pump, though it may be seasonally unavailable. This is a pack-it-out campground with no trash service. The Wise River flows along the western edge of the campground, offering convenient fishing access. The surrounding Pioneer Mountains provide opportunities for hiking and wildlife viewing in a remote mountain setting.
