About

Old Mill Campground is one of four camping areas at Bluestone State Park, situated along the scenic shores of Bluestone Lake in Summers County, West Virginia. The park was established in 1950 and encompasses over 2,100 acres at the confluence of the Bluestone and New Rivers, just upstream from Bluestone Dam. This rustic campground offers 33 primitive sites without hookups, served by a central bathhouse. The campground is designed for tent camping and smaller camping units; larger RVs and campers are not recommended due to site constraints. Bluestone State Park campgrounds typically operate from spring through fall, weather permitting, with a maximum stay limit of 14 nights. The surrounding park offers hiking trails, fishing access, boat docks, playgrounds, basketball and volleyball courts, picnic areas, and a seasonal outdoor pool. The lake provides excellent opportunities for boating and angling.
