Meador Campground is one of four camping areas within Bluestone State Park, a wilderness park located five miles south of Hinton in Summers County. The campground provides 32 sites suitable for both tent camping and RV use, positioned along the shores of Bluestone Lake, the state's third-largest body of water. Seven sites feature electric and water hookups, while fifteen additional sites offer electric service only. The remaining sites are non-electric. A central bathhouse with restroom facilities serves all campground guests, and a dump station is available for RV waste disposal. The campground operates spring through fall, weather permitting. Note that ongoing construction on Bluestone Dam may affect campsite availability. Reservations are handled through the West Virginia State Parks online system at wvstateparks.com.
