Beech Point Campground is situated on a small peninsula along the shores of Bear Creek Lake, a 625-acre impoundment within the St. Francis National Forest in eastern Arkansas. The campground is managed by Arkansas State Parks as part of Mississippi River State Park, which operates several facilities in the forest through a Special Use Permit with the USDA Forest Service. The campground underwent a complete renovation and features 14 Class AAA sites (numbered 1-14) equipped with 50-amp electrical service, water, and sewer hookups. Each hookup site has access to a modern bathhouse with individual shower facilities and complimentary Wi-Fi. Three additional walk-in tent sites (15T-17T) offer a more rustic experience with access to group water but no electricity. Bear Creek Lake provides excellent fishing opportunities and kayak rentals are available at the park. A fishing pier and swim beach are within easy reach of the campground. The surrounding St. Francis National Forest offers hiking trails through bottomland hardwood forests typical of the Mississippi River Delta region.
