Beech Point Campground is located within Mississippi River State Park at the Bear Creek Lake Recreational Area near Marianna, Arkansas. The campground occupies a small peninsula on Bear Creek Lake, a 625-acre man-made lake, providing most campsites with excellent lake views. Recently renovated, the facility features 14 Class AAA sites (numbered 1-17) equipped with full hookups including 50-amp electrical service, water, and sewer connections, along with access to a modern bathhouse with individual facilities. Additionally, 3 walk-in tent sites are available for tent campers seeking a more primitive experience. The campground layout provides generous spacing between sites, creating a sense of privacy despite the relatively small size of the facility. Mississippi River State Park offers visitors access to the St. Francis National Forest and sits at the unique convergence of the Mississippi River, Crowley's Ridge, and the Arkansas Delta. Bear Creek Lake is known for excellent fishing opportunities, and the park rents flat-bottom boats with motors and kayaks for lake access. The nearby Beaver Point Day-Use Area features a swim beach and the Bear Creek Nature Trail. The park's visitor center includes interactive exhibits and offers interpretive programs including tours, cooking demonstrations, and outdoor recreation activities.

From Marianna, follow Ark. 44 (The Great River Road/Crowley’s Ridge Parkway) six miles southeast to the Bear Creek Lake Recreation Area.
