Beaver Creek Campground offers a quiet, remote camping experience in the Black Hills National Forest near the Wyoming/South Dakota border. The small campground features 8 sites, including one ADA-accessible site, and is situated along Beaver Creek northwest of Hill City. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations available. During the peak season, the campground charges $19 per night and provides potable water and vault toilet facilities. Off-season camping is available with sites located outside the main campground gate, though no fees are charged and no services are provided during this period. The remote location makes it an ideal choice for campers seeking solitude in the Black Hills. Access requires navigating forest roads from Newcastle, Wyoming: head north on US Highway 85 for approximately 16 miles to Four Corners, then east on County Road 811 for 2 miles, continuing east on County Road 39 for about 3 miles, and finally east on Forest Service Road 111 for approximately 2 miles to reach the campground.
