About

Beaver Creek Camper Cabin provides a rustic yet comfortable overnight option in one of Minnesota's most scenic state parks. Located in the driftless region of southeastern Minnesota, an area that escaped the last glacial advance, the park features dramatic limestone bluffs, clear trout streams fed by Big Spring, and unique geological formations. The cabin sits adjacent to Beaver Creek itself, offering both privacy and easy access to the park's natural features. Inside you'll find wooden bunk beds with mattresses, a table with benches, and heating with electricity for cooler nights. An enclosed screened porch provides additional space for relaxing. Outside, each cabin has a picnic table and fire ring with cooking grate. No indoor cooking is permitted except for crockpots and coffeepots. The cabin is located near the main campground, where you'll find seasonal restrooms with showers, drinking water, and a dump station. Vault toilets are available year-round. The park offers excellent trout fishing for brown and native brook trout, hiking trails across creek-crossing bridges, birding opportunities including the Louisiana waterthrush, and exploration of bluffland prairies with rare wildflowers.
