The campground opens for the season around mid-May and closes December 15. Potable water is typically available mid-May through late September. Roads and parking areas are not plowed during winter. All sites are first-come, first-served with a 14-day stay limit.

About

Bearlodge Campground is a small, peaceful campground located in the Bearlodge Mountains of the Black Hills National Forest, approximately 7 miles west of Aladdin, Wyoming along State Highway 24. The campground provides 8 sites, all available on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations. Devils Tower National Monument is about 25 miles to the west, making this an ideal base camp for visiting the iconic landmark. Each site features a picnic table and fire grill, and the campground has a central vault toilet and bear-proof trash receptacles. Potable water is available seasonally, typically from mid-May through late September, though availability can vary with weather conditions as cold temperatures may freeze the lines. There are no hookups, showers, or dump station. The campground operates on a 14-day stay limit and accommodates tents, trailers, and small RVs. Site 6 offers a pull-through option. Two vehicles are permitted per site, with additional vehicles costing $5 per night. Pets are welcome on leash. Peak season rates are $18 per night (mid-May through mid-September), with a reduced off-season rate of $15 per night. Senior and Access pass holders receive a 50% discount.

From Aladdin, Wyoming, travel west on State Highway 24 for approximately 7 miles. The campground is on the right.
