About

Battle Ground Lake State Park sits in the forested foothills of the Cascade Range, centered on a pristine 28-acre lake filling an ancient volcanic crater. The 280-acre park provides a range of camping options: standard campsites, partial hookup sites with water and electric for RVs and trailers up to 35 feet, primitive walk-in sites that require hiking up to half a mile from parking, and primitive equestrian campsites with corrals. Four cabins are also available for those preferring roofed accommodations. The campground offers modern amenities including restrooms with flush toilets and showers, potable water, a dump station, and recycling services. A camp store operates seasonally, offering camping supplies, fishing gear, hot food, and snacks. The park's kitchen shelter with electricity can be reserved for group gatherings. Battle Ground Lake is open to swimming, fishing, and non-motorized boating with electric motors permitted. Over 10 miles of trails wind through towering Douglas fir forest, suitable for hiking and horseback riding. The park operates year-round with limited services in winter, and reservations can be made through the Washington State Parks reservation system.
