About

Apache Campground is part of the Silver-Saddle-Apache Campground Complex in Lincoln National Forest, located east of Cloudcroft in the Sacramento Mountains. At 8,900 feet elevation, the campground is surrounded by mixed conifer and aspen forest, offering a refreshing retreat from the summer heat of the desert below. The 25 campsites accommodate both tent campers and RVs up to 30 feet in length. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring, with vault toilets and potable water available on-site. Trash service is provided for campers. While the campground itself lacks showers and an RV dump station, these amenities are available at the nearby Silver Overflow Campground for an additional fee. Interpretive trails in the area provide opportunities to explore the surrounding forest.
