About
A.W. Marion State Park Campground sits amid rolling woodlands in Pickaway County, offering 58 campsites along the shores of 145-acre Hargus Lake. Twenty-nine sites have 50-amp electric hookups, while the remaining sites are non-electric. Each site features a fire ring and picnic table. The campground provides flush restrooms, vault latrines, and a dump station for RV convenience. The camp store stocks essentials, and families will find a playground, ball courts, and an amphitheater within the campground. A designated off-leash area grants supervised dogs lake access. Hargus Lake allows hand-powered vessels and boats with electric motors, and anglers target largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie, and channel catfish. The campground operates seasonally from late March through early November. Reservations are available through ReserveOhio. Some sites accommodate RVs up to 40-50 feet, making it accessible for larger rigs seeking a quiet lakeside retreat in central Ohio.
