About
Deer Creek State Park Group Campground is a primitive camping area designed for organized groups seeking a rustic outdoor experience in central Ohio. Located in Pickaway County within the 2,337-acre resort park, the group camp sits in a grassy, tree-bordered setting near the equestrian trails, providing a quieter atmosphere away from the main family campground.
The group camping area can accommodate up to 100 people across its sites. Facilities are primitive, with pit toilets and potable water spigots available nearby. Each site includes a fire ring and picnic table. The group camp shares the general area with the equestrian campground, making it ideal for groups with horses or those wanting easy access to riding trails.
Deer Creek Lake offers over 1,300 acres of water for boating, fishing, and swimming at the beach. The surrounding park features eight hiking trails, a golf course, disc golf, and wildlife viewing opportunities. The park's lodge, cottages, and marina provide additional amenities for groups wanting to explore the full resort experience.
