Deer Creek State Park Campground is central Ohio's premier vacation destination, offering 232 electric campsites in a setting that blends modern conveniences with rustic outdoor adventure. Located in the heart of Ohio's agricultural country approximately 35 miles southwest of Columbus, the campground is surrounded by a collage of meadows and woodlands bordering a scenic reservoir. The campground features two distinct camping areas with sites numbered 1-139 and additional sites up to 232. All sites include electric hookups, with some offering full hookups including water and sewer. Amenities include modern shower houses with flush toilets, a dump station, picnic tables, fire rings, and a seasonal camp store. The campground also offers Rent-A-Camp units and allows pets on designated sites. Beyond camping, visitors enjoy extensive recreational opportunities including a swimming beach, full-service marina, 18-hole golf course, and miles of hiking trails. The park also features a modern lodge, rental cottages, and the historic Harding Cabin. Directions

From Columbus, Ohio, take Highway 62 south to Mt. Sterling. Turn south on Route 207 and continue for 8 miles to the lake. Turn at the intersection; the campground is on Crownover Mill Road.
